Prof. Dr. C. Coşkun Küçüközmen; “Filling up your car with ‘50 Lira gasoline’ cannot take you back home”
One of the professors of our department, Prof. Dr. C. Coşkun Küçüközmen evaluated the price hikes on fuel in an interview with the 9 Eylül Newspaper. Prof. Küçüközmen Mentioned that the consumption habits of the society have changed with the increasing fuel prices and underlined that Turkey has left European countries behind by far, with fuel hikes of 250 percent in the last 1 year. Stating that even the LPG tank, which was filled 125 TL in May 2019, can be filled to 350 TL, Prof. Dr. Küçüközmen highlighted that companies are using their reserves, which are called the last reserve.
