Our faculty members Umut Can Adısönmez and Serhun Al are in the United States this week. They are attending International Studies Association (ISA) meeting in Chicago. Their panel focused on state identities and ontological security where our professors discussed changing dynamics of Turkish foreign policy in the emerging global disorder.

In this highly anticipated event, young participants competed to develop the best digital marketing campaign for a company in the fruit juice industry. After a 48-hour marathon, Cihat Kora Anadolu High School claimed first place, followed by Izmir Özel Türk Koleji Büyükçiğli Campus in second place, and Güzelbahçe 60. Yıl Anadolu High School in third.

Doğu Çeteci, a student at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Department of International Trade and Finance, has been accepted for a master’s degree at Scotland’s University of St Andrews, which is ranked among the top 100 universities in the world. 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özdamar Ertekin, a faculty member in Department of Business Administration at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), has been honored with an international award for her article on the relationship between the desire for innovation in the fashion industry and sustainability.

Students from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) have reached the finals of the ‘Research Challenge’, a competition organized by the CFA Institute, one of the most prestigious institutions in the field of finance.
