Hüseyin Sabuncu, Özkan Öztürk, and Nazım Berktuğ Aşer, students from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Logistics Management, came in second place in the 21^st Interuniversity Logistics Case Competition held this year. 

In an effort to create new career opportunities for its students, the Faculty of Business at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which is part of the IBSEN summer school program that includes some of the world's top universities, provided three students with an experience in the Netherlands. 

Faculty members of the IUE Political Science and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Filiz Başkan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhun Al and the department's research assistant, Batıkan BULUT, attended the IPSA 75th Anniversary Conference.

The 2nd IBSEN Summer School, hosted by The Hague University of Applied Sciences and organized by the IBSEN network -of which İzmir University of Economics (Türkiye) is a member along with universities from Germany, Czech Republic, South Korea, Canada, USA, Finland, Netherlands, France, and Italy - has ended! An online session held prior to the start of the summer school provided students with the opportunity to meet each other and the lecturers involved. Additionally, this session introduced students to the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) framework and gave an overview of the module. The duration of the program was two weeks and students took courses given by international instructors in two modules, IBSEN Module and General Module.

Süleyman Gürel, who graduated with a dual degree from the Faculty of Business Administration, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), achieved his long-desired goal of pursuing a career abroad and went to Europe. 

The report on the security and foreign policy co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr Sıtkı Egeli was published by the UK-based International Institute for Strategic Studies.

Devrim Sezer and Murat Borovalı participated in the first 'Political Philosophy Meetings' hosted by the Department of International Relations at Istanbul Bilgi University with their presentations.

Prof. Dr. Filiz Başkan gave a seminar at the Izmir Branch of the Mülkiyeliler Birliği.

The XXth Graduate Conference, organized by the Turkish Political Science Association and the Izmir University of Economics Department of Political Science and International Relations, was held on Saturday, 25 May 2024, with valuable and productive presentations.

IBSEN (International Business Studies Exchange Network) 2024 meeting was held on May at XAMK – South-Eastern Finland Univeristy of Applied Sciences.
