Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Business Administration 2024-2025 Academic Year opening lecture was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Bahar Yetiş Kara from Bilkent University Department of Industrial Engineering.
The opening lecture started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Burcu Güneri Çangarlı, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Bahar Yetiş Kara, with her speech titled “Disaster Management and Operations Research”, conveyed to us the importance of strategic decision making in times of crisis and the ways to produce solutions with scientific methods.
